Polypropylene for Soft Packaging

Hyosung Vina Chemicals’ polypropylene for soft packaging can be used to produce cast PP (CPP) film, bi-axially oriented PP (BOPP), and Ter-polymer (Ter PP), which can be laminated to create high-quality food packaging. Hyosung Vina Chemicals’ coating and lamination products enable the production of end products with enhanced stability, uniform thickness, and excellent adhesion properties, tailored for specific purposes such as protection and barrier functions.

Our PP for soft packaging applications is rigorously controlled to minimize fisheye, angel hair, and dust, with fisheye detectors and de-dusters installed for optimal quality. Additionally, our products feature low odor and are closely monitored for Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) in each batch.

Application

Hyosung BOPP Film

Hyosung BOPP is a cost-effective film widely used for various standard packaging applications in plain film, as well as for printing with a variety of inks, making it an ideal choice for labeling and packaging.

Hyosung BOPP film is also commonly used in the lamination of paper and other materials, offering a protective layer while enhancing the appearance of the finished product.

Hyosung CPP Film

Hyosung CPP offers excellent yield economics due to its low density. With various multi-layer construction options available, Hyosung CPP can be applied in a variety of food packaging applications, serving as both a core layer and a skin layer.

Ter PP

Hyosung Vina Chemicals' polypropylene ter-polymer (Ter PP) is widely used in packaging films due to its exceptional optical transparency, low heat seal temperature, strong sealing performance, and high aluminum deposition strength. Available with or without slip and anti-blocking agents, it is commonly used as a metalizing and sealing layer in flexible packaging applications.
